The 2nd Annual Freedom 5k was held on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The sub-freezing temperature did not deter the dedicated volunteers and participants.
Following a color-guard presentation by Boy Scout troop 320 and opening announcements 100+ runners, walkers, strollers and furry friends took to the course.
The race theme- FREEDOM, suited the date of Veterans’ Day but truly serves a deeper meaning for the Mission. The addiction recovery program is all about Freedom from the spiral of destruction of alcohol and drug addiction.
Thanks to our many sponsors and participants this year’s event netted almost $19,000.
Save the Date, the 3rd Annual Freedom 5K will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018.
